Rashid Khan is an Afghan cricketer whose international record includes Test cricket, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals. His recorded date of birth is 20 September 1998. He bats right-handed and bowls leg break googly.
His Test debut came against India on 14 June 2018. His ODI debut came against Zimbabwe on 18 October 2015. His T20I debut came against Zimbabwe on 26 October 2015.
Rashid was part of the team that played Afghanistan’s inaugural Test against India in June 2018. In September 2019, he led Afghanistan against Bangladesh, becoming the youngest captain in Test cricket at the time. His leg-spin has also taken him into major franchise competitions around the world.
