Hindukush Strikers recorded their first win of the 2026 Ahmad Shah Abdali first-class tournament, overcoming Pamir Legends by 71 runs.
Abdul Malik’s 123 and Mahboob Khan’s 97 helped the Strikers reach 351 in their first innings. After taking a substantial lead, Hindukush declared their second innings on 269 for seven, leaving Pamir a target of 409.
Pamir fought back through centuries from Rahmat Shah and Baheer Shah, but their chase ended at 337. Zia Ur Rahman Sharifi’s six wickets in the final innings were decisive. His nine wickets in the match earned him the player-of-the-match award.
